About the course
Furniture Summer School is an intensive summer course aimed to introduce students to the principles and processes of furniture design, organized by DesignNature in cooperation with Furniture Programme – Interior Architecture at Aalto University.
During 9 days of the course, the participants will design a piece of furniture and build a 1:1 prototype with the support of experienced tutors. The students will be provided with versatile facilities, including specialized workshops. The development of students projects will be supported by experienced workshop masters. The course will be concluded with the exhibition and project presentations.
Where?
DesignNature Campus in Sobole is set in the inspiring countryside, 1,5h outside of Warsaw (1,5h fligth from Helsinki), in a rural setting of east Poland to house international design, architecture and culture workshops, as well as artist/design residencies, exhibitions, and events.
